GSK approached us to develop an interactive presentation for ECCMID Global 2024. As part of the project, we created a high-resolution experience tailored for 4K screens and built a custom analytics platform to track and analyze viewer engagement in real time.

For this project, we partnered with the client to create an engaging, tech-driven installation designed to capture and transform attendee photos in real time. The experience invited participants to take portraits using an on-site camera system, offering a fun and interactive way to engage with the event space while seamlessly integrating advanced technology behind the scenes.

Once a photo was captured, a custom machine learning model processed the image to isolate the subject and dynamically alter the background, applying a curated visual style tailored to the event’s theme. This allowed each participant to receive a unique, stylized image moments after their photo was taken—bridging personalization with cutting-edge image processing.

Beyond the individual experience, we developed a system that aggregated all submitted photos into a live, evolving digital mosaic. Using ML-driven image analysis and layout optimization, the mosaic was continuously updated throughout the event, visually representing collective participation and creating a shared digital artwork composed of every attendee’s contribution.

The result was an interactive and visually rich experience that combined creativity, personalization, and real-time data processing. It not only drove attendee engagement but also demonstrated the power of machine learning in crafting immersive event-based installations.
